Alexis and I had so much fun making our Outlander meal that the next day we had to keep on making food. We decided to pick something from my new favorite cookbook: Simply Bread. Challah was our choice, and boy was it a good one.

It was really awesome seeing how much the dough can rise. This recipe called for several rising sessions.
We were really proud of our finished product. It was almost difficult for us to cut into it, but the smell was too enticing and we enjoyed a couple slices as soon as I finished taking pictures. Delicious.
After Alexis left I still had a good amount of the load left, it was a lot of bread. So one day I made french toast from it. Brilliant decision, it was amazing. I'm craving it now just writing about it!
